Revision Schedule with different Desciption, Date, To/By for the Same Rev Number

    Hi,

In a revision schedule is it possible to have a Revision eg '0' with different descriptions/dates/issued to/issue by on different sheets.

Currently we use a family for our issue bar with editable parameters which can be unique to each sheet, but we are wondering if it is possible to move to using a revision schedule.

    Hi ShaunOFarrell

    Q. In a revision schedule is it possible to have a Revision eg '0' with different descriptions/dates/issued to/issue by on different sheets.

    A. Yes. On the "sheet issues/revisions" window in the "view" ribbon, click the "per sheet" button and you can choose which revision to apply to each sheet and the numbers will be sequential for that sheet independent of others. So a 0 on one sheet can be assigned to a different revision than a 0 on another sheet.

There are also plugins which enable you to do this in bulk (like xrev upRev)

Thanks for response, do you know if it possible to have for example 2 different descriptions/dates for the same rev on different sheets
        ie
        Rev A = For Information - 01/12/16
        Rev A = For Client Comment - 02/12/16
When I set the revision number to 'per sheet' I still can't achieve this as far as I can see.

Not easily, your options are to either:
          1. Manually change the information between printing sets
          2. Use two separate titleblocks, with different revision schedules, and use all the available revision information: For the first you'd use the sequence number, date and description, and for the second you'd use the sequence number, Issued to and Issued by parameter.
