so we are well into our project/ model and we just found out that Civil has dropped our Main Level FF elevation 3 inches. I was wondering what the recommended course of action is?

Go to an elevation or Section View. Then use the *RElocate Project* command (Manage Ribbon > Position Button > relocate Project. Then click a level, and "move" the project the three inches. Bsaically, it repositions the model by shifting the coordinate values. You dont ever have to try to actually move all of the items in a model at once.
