    Family Origin not behaving itself...

    I've just been given two curtain panel doors by one of our users to look at, with complaints that they weren't tagging nicely (off centre)

    "Nonsense!" I thought, "I made them", and brushed away the first one seconds later after restablishing the (correct) reference planes to define the origin.

    But I now have to concede defeat to the attached family. I can get it to tag nicely in plan, but it always comes in off-centre in elevation (which is the documented activity in question).

    Any one got a moment to have a look? It's 2011...

    I´m afraid that it´s not your fault. The family seems to be fine, and as you said, it tags perfectly centered in plan view too. In elevation view however, apparently the "center" is defined differently by Revit - You can test that by changing the "Open_Sideways" parameter...

      Don't have 2011 at hand so tested in 2012: perfect alignment here...

        What!?!

        <dives into 2012>

        No it doesn't!
        (bless you for trying to getting my hopes up so early in the morning! :coffee: )

        ...and the even more frustrating thing? We've never had to worry about this before because "we don't use leaders" - we manually move/position most of our tags so there's no (visual) suggestion of anything being wrong - but oh look, what's that? Arh, it's a contractor request to use leaders... which all now appear on the wonk/point at (seemingly) the wrong thing.

        Grrrrrr.

          Right, you mean WITH leader. Should have said that. I never use those... Do they ever come in right in Elevation?
