I know this sounds convoluted but I am currently trying to model a window wall system across a high rise building. My solution thus far has been to:
1. use a curtain wall rather than a window wall at every floor
2. set a curtain wall that stretches to the extent I need across the entire facade
3. Set the panel type of this curtain wall to a preset "window wall system panel"
I initially created a family for this panel, but the joins between each panel (especially at corners) was very inaccurate. My solution was to create a curtain wall type that acted as a window wall system, and use that c.wall as a panel in the overall curtain wall. This would allow me to set the h grid of the panel to the height of my bypass panel for the window wall, and also allow adjacent panels to delete overlapping mullions.
The problem I am facing is that not all floor to floor heights are equal, so the h.grid of the panel would have to change depending on the floor to floor height. Is there anyway to make the grid of the panel I've created offset from its top constraint, rather than having it stay at the same height every panel?
