Make some changes to CAD export default setting

I would like to make some changes to the CAD export default setting. For example, use short file name instead of long file name & not exporting a linked Revit file as a separate X-ref to CAD.

Where I can make those changes?

    Thanks in advance.

when you go to the export tab, and you click ok, before the final part of the export happens you get to choose the location and file name where it saves the file.

At this time, down the bottom of the dialogue box are some check options, use long/short names and export xrefs....

uncheck the xrefs, I personally hate this you end up with like 20 xrefs per drawing....although I suppose it may be useful in certain circumstances, more often than not I do not use this setting to export the xrefs.

      Thanks Karalon10

What I want is to save those setting as default when you export CAD, so I don't have to pick my choices all the time. Current default is long names and exporting all xrefs separately which I don't go with most of time.

You can save your settings under R>Export>Options>Export Setups DWG/DXF.
The last tab General at the bottom gives you the option 'Export views on sheets and links as external references'.
Revit add-ins: Purger (delete UNUSED and selected line patterns & line styles, find & delete CAD), Rooms To Spaces, Schedule Utilities (Calculated Values/Combined Parameters To Tags, reuse view filter rules in schedule filters), View Filter Manager (with bunch of other features) at Revit Exchange Apps, View Filter Manager ML
