    C4R - BIM360 setup questions

    Hi all;
    In the process of setting up C4R on BIM 360 Team and have some questions:

    Do I need to copy the initial Revit file to the Team folder, and open it from there to create the central file?
    Once the central file is created on BIM360, should that be the file to share with others for viewing and markups? Seems a bit risky to share the central file. Brand new to this so looking forward to hearing from the experts.

    Thx,
    Marc

    If you upload it via the website, you won't be able to open it in Revit, but you can look at it and mark it up in the viewer.
    You have to "onboard" the project by using the collaborate button in Revit. If you do that it becomes a central file and others with a C4R subscription that you invite to the project can edit it in Revit. If you "publish" the file that you onboarded, others on the team can view/markup the model and the sheets you choose in the web viewer.
