Tab key not working on Railings

We have one user using Revit 2016 who is unable to select the railing sub-elements by using the Tab key. I have opened the same file on my machine and was able to Tab into and edit the railings. Things we have tried so far:
    • Made sure these were not "Legacy" railing types
    • Revit builds are the same
    • Other machines can edit
    • Used a different keyboard

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

    Thanks!

They may have *selection of pinned elements* disabled on their computer. Bottom right of the revit interface, look for the icon with a pin on it. If it has a red X, they cant select them. Click it to change the option.
