    Dynamo Plug in

    Good morning people

    I do not have that much experience using dynamo, only a month or two of actual use.

    i have manged to create a few scripts which have worked. However i am trying to create on that will create a legend for all my wall types.

    I just want a small section through the wall so i can accurately show the build-up. I would normally just drag and drop them in myself, but there are 50+ wall types in the project and that would not be the best use of time. :banghead:

    Would anyone be able to point me in a direction where i might find a solution ?

    While you did ask if Dynamo can do this...you might want to check out this thread: http://www.revitforum.org/architectu...ion-types.html

    I also question your 300+ wall types...are you combining structural walls (CMU/Concrete) with other wall types to make one wall? You might want to rethink your wall process if so and keep them separate. Build the walls as two or three different walls and join them. That will make it look like one wall type for printing and holes in the structural wall transfer to the adjoining walls. That can cut down wall types tremendously.

      We have :

      Party Walls

      Partition Walls

      Linings (Applied to superstructure)

      All have there on annotation tags and information which has been correctly scheduled. Its all working pretty well at the moment. Just for new member of the team i wanted to make it easier for them to select the correct wall when drawing. The legend is not for anyone else outside of the practice and simply for our information.....
