    How to make this type of mullion join?

    Looks like it already is joined....unless you were expecting corner to corner... But it looks like you have different sizes too.

      When you have different depth face caps Revit has no idea how you want the join to look and what you're seeing is what Revit *thinks* that you want to see. If this join condition is really important to you in 3D views I'd use face based GMs and not curtain wall profiles/mullions
      I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

            Don't use a mullion...Use a floor or model "in place". As Dave already mentioned, Revit doesn't know how you want to join two different size mullions.
