    Empty worksets

Do empty work sets cause any issues with Revit. I have acquired a project that has a number of empty work sets. I would like to delete them, but not sure of the consequences.

when you delete worksets you get the opportunity to specify what worksets objects go to, so you should be fine.

If there are really no elements assigned to them it shouldn't pose a problem to delete them. It could also indicate that people are not assigning elements to the workset as expected.

You can delete a workset but Revit will give you an opportunity to combine any elements assigned to it to another workset. That's a better choice than opting to delete those elements, if any. If you find you can't delete one then that means it was originally Workset 1 but then renamed. When worksets are enabled Workset 1 is the original or first so it can't be eliminated.

We can't eliminate that workset without using Detach from Central and opting to discard worksets entirely.
