Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Revit

    Hello everyone,

I am using Revit Architecture 2011. Windows 7 service pack 1 was loaded on my computer about a month ago. Since that time the number of blue screens and the number of Revit crashes has increased dramatically. Most of the time the blue screens come while I am in Revit, however, every Monday morning when I come in I have the blue screen. I reboot my computer on Friday before leaving.

Has anyone else noticed a increase in blue screeens and crashes after installing Service Pack 1?

    Thanks
    Wiley

Yep...and this may or may not work...

Check in your add/remove programs to see if you have a Marvell driver installed. This is the driver for your SATA drives...which doesn't really need to be there since Windows 7 already has its own driver... My understanding is both drivers like to fight for which has control when your computer wakes back up. So if you remove the driver also make sure that your computer doesn't go to sleep. We leave our computers always on except on weekends, always rebooting at the end of each day for the server to install updates.
