    Swapping levels

    Hi guys,
Is this possible to take all model information form one building level and swap it with another level in the same building model? I mean level 6 becomes level 7 and level 7 becomes level 6?
    Revit 2015,
    Thank you

You can select the objects on a level and paste them to other levels. So everything that was on level 6 is now on level 7. I believe that is what you're going for.

depends on what's on the levels. Walls for instance have a Base Constraint instance parameter. I move or copy curtain walls to different levels all of the time. If I wanted all of my curtain walls on level 6 to be on level 7 and all of the cws on level 7 to be on level 6 I would change the Base Constraint of all level 6 walls to level 8, change all BC for level 7 walls to level 6, then change the BC for all of the walls on level 8 to level 7. Could do the same with lots of other Revit objects. For those that don't have a Base Constraint parameter doing a copy/paste to Selected Level or Current View using the same methodology and the BS change would work
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

As Dave alludes to, I don't think there is a way to do this with a quick few clicks. You would need to be pretty careful and systematic about it, perhaps category by category. It might be tricky with things like floor hosted families. There are tools available that will select all objects on a level that might help and you could filter out your categories.
