    Question! I'm a beginner.

Here's what I want to do. I designed my house and now I want to organize the sheets. I made the layout one to show my client my work and the blue print one for execution. So I got the floor plan and DUPLICATED the same, so I could hide elements I do not on layout and blue print. But what frustrates me is the fact that when I restart the software, every element I had hidden before is now shown. How can I hide elements "permanently" so everytime I start it up it does not reveal? I tried duplicating the floor pan and deleting elements, but it did not work out, because when I delete the element on the duplication, the same is deleted on the real one. So the thing is on hidding elements properly.

    Can anyone help me?

how are you "hiding" elements? If you are using the Temporary Hide/Isolate (little pair of glasses) in the View Control bar then, your elements are hidden just in that view in that Revit session. If you want to permanently hide elements use either Visibility/Graphics for hiding categories or Hide in View: Hide Elements (EH shortcut here but that may be mine and not OOTB, don't remember)
I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

There are two hotkeys for hiding elements
As Dave mentioned temporary and permanent hides.

      Hotkey
HH = temporary hide. This will put a blue border around your active view. This can be "undone" by clicking on the sunglasses at the bottom of the view
EH = Element Hide. This will permanently hide that element in your active view. The only way you can see, and unhide elements hidden using this command is by clicking on the little light bulb icon at the bottom of the view. Hidden elements will show in pink/magenta and you can select them, and right click and then unhide them while the light bulb is active.
