Why do my pipes keep disappearing?

    Why do my pipes keep disappearing?

    I am trying to draw a pipeline from the floor drain to the rooftop unit. I can see the pipe in the floor plan view until I coonect it to the rooftop units. Once I make that connection you can no long see the pipe in floor plan view, however I can see it in section views.

    Does anyone have any ideas or know away around this???

    Try changing the detail or visual Style of your floor plan view. I recommend Medium detail and hidden line Visual Style. You can find this at the lower left hand side of your drawing space.

      It still doesnt work.

        It is because the instant you connect it, that pipe becomes part of a system.
        In your filters make sure the system is visible.

          Thank you so much Jrobker. I feel so stupid now but I didn't even think about the system not being visible
