We didn't go in the gulf in Biloxi; the resort we stayed in was built up and out into the gulf... I just spent a bunch of time out by the pool, intead.
    Pensacola Beach, though, was beautiful.
Being on the East coast, we typically go to Charleston, SC and I've been to the beaches from Cape May, NJ all the way down to Hilton Head Island. The beaches are tan and the water is brown; you cannot see what's swimming around you. I was commenting to my SO, because the water was so clear in Pensacola, that people that grow up with that beautiful, clear water are probably totally grossed out by the water along the east coast.
I think we'll be back down, sometime... we had a great trip!

I used to live in Biloxi! Well, actually 2 cities over in Long Beach. But close enough.

Just don't go in the water. The MS coast is the arm pit of the Gulf of Mexico. Water is naaaasty. You can go out to ship island, though. The water on the other side of the islands is beautiful. Well, on your next trip anyway.

    Along the Gulf of Mexico...

Was out of the office last week on vacation. We took a trip down to the Gulf of Mexico; Pensacola Beach, Florida and Biloxi, Mississippi. We'd never been down there, so everything was new. Here are some pix I took:

    Wish I were still there...
