    Absolute vs. Relative Elevation

Hope you had a Happy New Year! I hops this isn't too much of a noob question. I am planning on editing my shared coordinates in a project in order to be able to report both project and absolute elevations. It's a workshared file already into the CD phase and also has an MEP file linked into it. Before I make the change I want to verify that this will not cause any issues with the file linked in, or anything else for that matter. Do I need to change the Shared Coordinate in both files? Is there anything else I should look out for?

    Thanks!

If I understand what yoiu are saying you want to relocate your project to the correct co-ordinates and levels(elevation) and then report the shared and project co-ordinate levels? As long as you use the relocate project tool and publish the updated co-ordinates to the linked model all should be ok.

I would recommend taking a backup of all the entire project files before you do anything tho.
