    Duct Visibility

    Hey Guys
    So i have been trying to create some parameters to allow our pipe to be shown as single line from sizes 3" and below, while still having our larger pipe shown as double line. Has anyone tried doing this? If so could you help me to figure it out as well?

        As far as I know, this can;t be achieved.

        I just ran into this problem in my mechanical room. I have hydronic pipes that I'd like to see double-lined and keep the smaller ones (domestic) single line. I never found a solution. You can only override the visual fidelity of the pipes as a whole not user created pipes types (not through worksets, filters, or any other override.) If someone else has better knowledge than I do, speak up.

        until then just put this one on your wish list.


        *** just had a thought. use two views superimposed on each other. one showing the pipes double lined and the other single. Hide whatever you don't want showing.

          I'm not sure you can accomplish this without simply making a double. I'll double check when I get home later. Also, I am going to ask around in the Indianapolis plumbers community. One of my friends might have a more definitive answer than me.

            You cannot do this. Coarse, mediuim , fine are view specific, not element.

            rather than hiding whatever you dont want to see I would use a filter, this way you never have to go to the view and re-hide any additional modeled elements.
