    Possible to rotate a family in X-Z or Y-Z plane?

    Is it possible to create a generic family that once placed, can be rotated in any direction (X-Z or Y-Z plane)?

    Example file:

    Doesn't seem possible, even if dissociated from the work plane.

        No problem. That is the only way that I know of, you might want to try the family creation sub forum. Someone might be able to use a rotation rig to do it.
