Is there a way to extend top rail only flush with the end posts (to the ref plaines on elev. view)? Thx.

You have to change the offset of the ballusters....bummer part is you have to have to create two different types of ballusters to make this work as offset is left and right and not start to finish....so you would have to change the location of the balluster in regards to the origin.
If you really need to show it extend out, model it as a family or just use a masking region in elevations....
