    I hate roofs

I'm having roof issues. Take a look at the attachment. I'm trying to do this with one roof. The plate height of gable to the left is 2' below the main gable. The small wall where the blue line is will rake down to accomplish this. Nothing I'm trying is working. Slope arrows, plate offsets, nothing. It will let me create the roof all on one plate, but not on 2 different plate heights.

    HELP!

I think you will find it is your "two cut-plumb or square" option. Take that off and it works.
    Easy solution = two roofs

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.

Did you try this also? : Select the edge that is indicated with the blue arrow, and the correspondent edge on the opposite side. From the properties window, specify -2 feet for "Offset from roof base" for both edges.

Does it do this on both sides?

With the "two cut- square" option checked, like in Dan's example revit cannot handle the geometry at the intersection of the two planes,as far as I know. See attached.

This image with fascia on explains the issues better. Revit is having the same issue trying to solve the roof planes as with the problem with the fascia.
