Workstation Revit ,Archicad 3ds max Vray rendering

Hello, I'm a young architect, working mainly with revit ,vray, 3ds Max, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, I would replace my workstation with a more powerful, I have many doubts, I would like a dual xeon, I found this model

    Workstation Computer Wks422 Dual Xeon E5-2620V3 32GB DDR4 ECC NVIDIA QUADRO M4000 8GB SSD 250GB HD 2TB

It can be a good product or gets better with this budget?
    thank you

Hi Marcox - welcome to RFO!

The only major issue is the CPUs are slow - only 2.4GHz base clock speed w/ TB to 3.2GHz. And unless your main usage is CPU rendering, the dual xeons are a waste. But if all you do is CPU rendering, it will be very good.

However, if your primary usage is rendering, I'd look into GPU rendering instead.

The rest of the specs look good.

Thanks for the response , rendering for me is very important to use vray , the CPU working at 2.4GHz and 3.2GHz e5-2620v3 in core turbo , but then have 6 core cpu would double total 12 core instead .the quadro M4000 performance ? is fine to work with Revit and AutoCAD / ArchiCAD ?

Im nervous to respond as I am not super well versed with all the software you use and I know some of those programs can actually need a quadro, but I can say that at that budget, a 5960x build might prove to be a better all around computer, especially if overclocked.

Using the passmark benchmark leader board as a reference, I did a 5820k and at 4.5ghz had a passmark score of 173xx, right below the e5-2697 v2 in their cpu chart. The e5-2620v3 scores 9994. I would think an overclocked 5960x would outperform the dual socket system and be cheaper, stock 5960x scores 16000? Just a thought, Im not sure I am qualified to give you proper advice. I also dont like that they used a bronze power supply in such a system. I always use gold rated.

        edit:
ALso, that turbo boost is usually just partial load, so at rendering on any of those cpu's but especially the xeon you will be running at closer to base clock speed or just over it.

If I am not mistaken isnt vray cuda rendering? You might actually do better with a titan x if you need the gpu memory. I know the gpu rendering programs like lumion and others love the geforce line but you sacrifice a few quadro related features....some that you may not even use.
