    Browser Organization

There was a thread on here somewhere (I'm pretty sure it was here) that described how to add a paramter to the view types so you could organize the browser better.

I did this, creating a sub discipline category. I've noticed that I now have 2 sub discipline categories. I don't know how it got there, it wasn't that way before!

I can't remember how to get rid of it. Anyone know how?

I know you add/remove them through the manage tab, under project parameters. Check and see if there's two there now. It may be possible someone could have brought in a double using the Transfer Project Standards?

I'm the only one here sooooooo. no.

I looked there at first but there is only one listed. It's just put in the browser twice for some reason.

Well, I guess you just broke it then.

Seems like an instance project parameter that applies to views. I don't know why the same parameter is shown twice, though. Check Manage > Project parameters > select and remove.

:banghead: That's it. Just like Need4mospd said earlier. I was looking in the shared parameters the whole time.

                Thanks guys.

Did you by any chance create the SP > Load it only to find it was in Length, not text? Delete from the SP file, recreate and load again?
That are 2 different parameters which both show up in the project...

(just to prevent the :banghead: next time...)

Not real sure. I set up the project browser with the sub discipline parameter a few months ago. I just noticed the double entry last week. I'm pretty sure it wasn't always there, but who knows. It's fixed now!
