Family With Multiple Parameters ( excel style format)

    Hey Everybody,

I wanted to know how do I make a family, lets say of a Window, in which the parameters such as height, width, finish, type of glazing, etc. is driven by a table (like the one that comes up when you load beams or columns

    Thanks in advance!

it's called a Type catalog. See here: http://revit.autodesk.com/pillar/cus...e_Catalogs.htm

You need to create a .txt file with the same name as the family, and save that file in the same folder. That file will be the catalog. To learn about creating catalogs, please find a document called The Families Guide from www.autodesk.com , or open one of the existing catalog files already included in your libraries, to find out how they work. There are several of them in the Structural/Framing/Steel/ folder.
