    Server Outage 8th July

    Hi All,
    As you would have no doubt noticed, we were off line for quite a few hours earlier today (Melbourne time). This was due to a major failure of a database server from GlobalGold and was completely out of our control.

    Hopefully they have fully fixed whatever the problem was and we continue without further interruption.

    Could it be that this is the second time in a few days? Yesterday (or the day before) I couldn't reach the site either...

      me neither (on 7/7) but as I've discussed with Klaus before, that's pretty normal for me.
      Although, ... I was also unable to access the BBC-UK site. May have been a provider/overseas thing for me. {shrug}

        Have to remember the Aussie folk are in the future....hence the Melbourne Time....

        So while its 10am PST Friday here in Spokane, its 3am Saturday in Melbourne...
