    Select Model Elements node

when i try to select multiple elements in Revit, it seems only allow (crossing) window selection mode, no CTRL or SHIFT selection, no filtering, is it normal? i know i must miss something simple here

It does appear that only drag-selection is able to be done.

You can work around this by going into a 3D view and hiding off everything you don't want to select... annoying I know but the only solution I can think of.

really?! i didn't expect Dynamo's UI is that bad, well, another case is that i cannot "Create Similar" from existing node (again, did i miss something simple here?), so i have to go through browser to pick right node again and again.

      thanks amoursol for your conformation!

edit: OK, seems CtrlC+CtrlV will do the trick even though no (context) menu is available (?)

Standard commands do work as you have highlighted and the feature density upon each new stable release is pretty robust.

If you want to see a feature - you can propose it to the developers on github:

        https://github.com/DynamoDS/Dynamo/issues

Simply prefix your request with 'Wish - ' or 'Feature Enhancement - ' or somesuch. The dynamo team will assign people to it or put it on the to-do list if they think it important enough.

thanks amoursol for the suggestion, in fact, Dynamo's UI isn't bad at all, searching node by typing related text is wonderful!

If using build 0.8.1 onwards you can search in the canvas space as well with Shift + Doubleclick and RightClick in the context menu.

good to know, thanks amoursol, well, this Dynamo reminds me of my very first visual programming experience long time ago which is LabView, mainly for engineerning stuff.

good for people w/o or w/ limited programming experience, not so good for experienced programmer.
but i think Dynamo is very good for simple tasks or build quick test prototype for further NET based API development.
