    View Scale Formatting

Is there a way to change the formatting of the "View Scale" parameter in a view title? The formatting option is grayed out and not selectable in the Edit Label dialog box of the family editor. I would like to have is display as a 1:1, 1:4, 1:96 instead of 1'-0" = 1'-0", 3" = 1'-0", 1/8" = 1'-0". Is there a project setting that can change the way they are displayed?

Are you trying to keep the Arch scale in other views? If so, then just change the scale of the view to Custom and change it to what you want. If you are trying to change project wide, Project Units need to be something other than feet and inches...

No, I would like to change it globally. I seen an example in the Revit "help" that showed how to do a single viewport but nothing globally. I tried changing the Project Units but the view scale only changes to x:x when I set it to a metric unit of measurement. I can live with the way it does it by default, I just like the x:x because it appears cleaner.
