    Foundation Drop

I want to make a drop in a foundation slab (plain concrete). I tried to make an opening in the slab and draw another slab on the level i need then join them but didnt work. I tried also to make a slab edge but it was a stupid idea of course. I found a temperate solution to join the to levels with a beam but it wasnt enough for all drawings. Please check the attachment to see what I mean and thanks for help.

The top one I would just do a floors and low walls below it. The second, I would trip floors with a slab edge along the opening at the top. make sure everything is the same material so it joins together.

thanks for help... but I tried slab edge and it didnt work!! height difference between levels is too high for the slab edge to intersect with the lower slab. moreover, i tried to join elements with the same material together. sometimes it works other times it refuses!!

Are you using the out of the box slab edge? You will need to most likely create a new profile for your slab edge to your desired depth.
