    Stringer cut

    Hello

Is it possible to remove sections of stringers from a stair? I want to remove the two stringers from the landing as shown in the image.

Sorry, but that´s impossible as far as I know... Can´t even do an in-place void since stairs is not an available category for families...

BTW, you may wanna have a look at the center stringer at the second run... something is not right there

No its not possible to remove sections but it is possible to add sections.
In your example i would make the landing as a floor the create 3 separate stairs.
Select your lower run and enter edit mode. Add extra boundary lines (green) for stringer additions. Select each of these extra lines and change Slope to Flat.
With you top level runs enter edit mode and extend required boundary lines by pulling nodes towards landing this will extend the stringer into the new landing stringer.
Hard to explain have a look and play with attached file.

Thank's for the feedback chaps. Mark, I'll make the landing into a floor and try the boundary line option as suggested.

Klaus, the middle stringer is in actual correct in revit, seems a problem with snagit.
