Linked RVT Wall Cut Patt Overides w/ Filters

I am trying to over ride the cut pattern of my linked arch models walls. I have 3 filters set up for this.

    Precast Walls
    Masonry Walls
    Metal Walls

I can sucessfully overide the cut lines, but if I try to over ride the pattern of the walls I completly lose all the patter of the wall. Only a few patterns work correctly, but the ones that work are off 45 degrees.... I can over ride colors all day long. Its something to do with the Patterns.

The picture shows how the filters are working correctly. But when I change the pattern at the filter it all goes away and i have no color or pattern.

    Any ideas? Experiences?

A long shot maybe... but are your view set to Coarse?

Ive tryed it in Coarse, Med, and Fine. All give me the same thing.

Ive sent it off to Autodesk today. Hope to hear back from them soon.

Like I said. Try to overide your linked walls with a cut pattern applied by a filter. See if you can get it to work

Could you try it in 2011??? maybe its a version problem.

I have uploaded 2 test projects. Verify that Arch 1 is linked into Struct 1.

Open Struct 1 and visibility check and see that the walls from the linked Arch 1 model do not show correctly.
I copied the walls into the project and the filters work on them...

Will have a look at the files you provided later

Are the filters you are using filtering by Type Name of the walls?

So very strange. I have to be doing something wrong.

I had the same problem a while back too. I was trying to show fire ratings with part of a building as a seperate linked file and they wouldn't display. Unrated walls were halftoned and that filter worked fine, but the rating patterns wouldn't. I think I had to create the view in the linked file and use by linked view to make it work. This was in 2011 as well.
