    Get Level by Steve Faust

I am posting this Addin written by Steve Faust, as someone at Augi is looking for an app like this, so I have directed them here.
This and quite a few other addins were lost with everything else at Augi so I thought i would find what I have and repost them. I hope those who wrote them don't mind and come to join us here soon.

Allows user to select from a list of all levels in the project and see any elements associated with that level
for determining if a level can be safely deleted as well as selecting all elements on a certain level (which can then be filtered to all doors, windows, etc

Unzip and place both files for Windows7 in
    C:ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2011
Start Revit, the the App will be under Add-ins on Ribbon click External Tools/Get level

Be Warned, if you have objects (at least beams) that have an offset from that level, it wont select them. But it does help.

        Get Level by SF

I did exchange an e-mails with Steve. He is aware of the problem with offset beams. I hope he will find a time to fix his program. It is a one of the best utility I found so far. Steve, if you read this forum, please comment . . . .

          Version for 2012

          Hi,

I tried to register in the 2012 Architecture, but it seems not to work. Please update the application that looks wonderful.

Some of you may already be aware of this, but GetLevel has been updated and replaced by a new version at:
Selection Master - Download & Purchase

If you want to save some time doing repetitive selection tasks, or even if you having trouble finding certain things in your model, it may be worth a look. It is quite affordable.

              Hi All,

I don't seem to be able to install the GetLevel add-in on my machine. And I can also see a new version was released, although the last post in this thread is dated 2011.

Does anyone know whether an updated version of the add-in can be found? I'm using Revit 2015.

You may want to check out PartsLab. Its a free model browser that has object selection & isolation by category / family / type, and filters by-level. It also allows browsing of linked model objects.

PCL PartsLab - Autodesk App Store
