I am in the process of upgrading around 12 models all linked with shared coordinates. Am I correct to assume that the shared coordinates file must be updated as well?

There is no shared coordinates *file*, only whatever file was used to either Acquire Coordinates or determine what coordinates should be entered into Specify Coordinates at Point. Once set Shared Coordinates are *fixed*, or unchanging.
If a separate file (Revit) was created to deal with a survey and acquire coordinates then, yes, it ought to be upgraded too, so it can be used with the other files if necessary.Last edited by Steve_Stafford; February 6, 2015, 07:59 PM.
