    Grid Lines Visibility Mystery

    Hi All,
I modelled horizontal & vertical grids for a 3 level project with uniformed floor to soffit dims.
    For each view :-
    • My view range is the same
    • All modelled and Annotation elements are set to visible

But the grids (in both directions) are only visible on Level 00 & Level 01. Level 02 however only has vertical grids, but the horizontal grids have disappeared.

Any reason as to why this happened and any soultions i can adopt to rectify this mystery?

    Assistance is greatly appreciated.

cut a section or elevation showing the grids, I'll bet they do not extend to the upper floors.

A simple way to fix this is to select the Grid, then right-click and pick "Maximize 3D extents"
This will ensure that your Grid will extend above the highest modeled element.

or create a scope box with the correct 3d extents and associate the grids to that scope box. I do this a lot for grids that are curved or non orthogonal to any view.

Thanks all for the advice and support, all sorted now using the 'maximize 3d extents' method.

          Much appreciated.
