Your family is a category that is not cuttable...

It needs to be one of these categories to cut:
    Casework
    Ceilings
    Columns
    Curtain Wall Panels
    Doors
    Floors
    Generic Models
    Roofs
    Site
    Structural Columns
    Structural Foundations
    Structural Framing
    Topography
    Walls
    Windows

Is there away to change the category once it has been made? I would hate to have to redraw everything

Edit the family and change the category. Sometimes though the previous version has to be removed from the project before the new one is added. I usually just rename it to something different.
