    Live Demonstration/desktop sharing app

    Hi All.

    This morning I had a live demonstration/Desktop Sharing meeting with Alex Cunningham in the States and we used https://join.me/ for the desktop sharing software.

    I have to say that this was by far the easiest setup for this type of thing that I have came across. Combined with Skype for the voice it worked a treat.

    It’s hard to believe we can do this sort of stuff all for free.

    Just thought it may be of use to others at some stage.

    You can share screen with Skype, too.

        Briliant!!! The join.me is cool because it uses HTTP protocall if you can view the web you can share your screen. IDK about Skype never used it but you need install privlidges on the computer plus it uses ports that can be blocked by IT.

          Yes. Thats right..I have even used join.me screen sharing with one of my friends and it works fine. You can also try other screen sharing services such as gomeetnow.com. We normally use this in our organization for web conferencing and application sharing.
