Hi,
I've open the file in RST 2012, no crash; but what is weird is that i can dim the height of the column but not the width in cut view.
you have to be carefull with rotated objects when making cut views, you'll be able to dimension only if the view is perpendicular to faces.
I use personally a ref plane to be perpendicular to faces then snap my cut view to this plane.
works fine for instance in elevation view. bug are you here???Julien

I have had this issue with elements not being perfectly square to the view plane. I ma not at my PC right now but if you check I think you might find the column is slightly rotated from the view plane.Andrew Harp
