    High Speed Two (HS2) is looking for a Head of Building Information Management in London or Birmingham

    Do you offer a significant track record of leading successful Building Information Management (BIM) programmes on large construction, infrastructure or similar projects? If so, we are looking for a Head of BIM to develop, manage and implement the BIM strategy for one of the largest infrastructure programmes in a generation.

    Specifically, you will be responsible for leading on BIM and will provide the essential leadership of BIM application to ensure support and integrity throughout design and construction. Your remit will include:
    • Assuring that an integrated IT platform and infrastructure is developed to host the application of BIM;
    • Assuring the integration of data through the design and construction phases of the programme;
    • Development and management of the BIM strategy;
    • Provision of technical support and training to embed the BIM strategy;
    • Management of the interface with the HS2 supply chain to ensure BIM adoption;
    • 3D, 4D and 5D modelling to drive efficiency savings.

    For this pivotal role, we’re looking for a proven BIM professional with a track record of leading successful BIM programmes on large construction or infrastructure programmes. You’ll be adept in leading teams or stakeholders to deliver successful BIM outcomes and you will have realised significant savings on previous programmes as a result of good BIM management / knowledge retention. Equally importantly, for this senior and influential role, you will need to be a commercially astute, persuasive and highly focused leader.
