    v0.75 RFO Ribbon Add-In - Feedback

Feedback, ideas, and/or suggestions are welcome for the 0.75 version of the add-in.

Handful of items that need addressing off the top of my head, .. and anyone can contribute and/or help!
    • Code - Manage Add-Ins, we need to get that puppy going
    • Code - We probably should create SMALLER application buttons, or give the option in the XML to have your app choose a button size, if we add several more addons we are going to risk running out of space soon
    • Artwork - I am horrible with graphics - open up a PNG and have at it =)

Alex, I would, but .. I haven't actually written one yet .. LOL. That last piece was a brief snippet to prove it could be done. I may one day put something together, although it may have to be more than an activated command from a ribbon add-in.

See the app would have to start with REVIT and unless I'm ready to modify Krispy's code to automatically launch that particular addin - it would have to be a plugin in and of itself.

Jose, how about grouping them by type and from there a pull down menu?

Gonçalo , I think that would be a good idea ..

Krispy, your thoughts on code modifications? .. Right now you load by addin - we would have to modify to include a group type, .. that would go a long way to add room.

            Jose,
My first thoughts were around my stuff, that works around parameters, so a "Parameters" group to start a pull down menu would be great.
            About other stuff, probably source?

Gonçalo, I'm curious to see Krispy's thoughts, he put the original grouping together so I want his feedback as well, however I think it makes sense.

So .. as far as source, . you want links to ALL of the source code for what exactly?

Krispys code is linked in, all of the program files are there in the source directory.

umm .. the source for the dll files of the actual addins are available on this forum and on the web .. but I will compile a list later today of the source for those that are available and update the "SOURCE" posting. Is that what you mean?

Not all addins come with the source as they are not required to be included.

                Not the source code!
                Rather "Autodesk", "krispy", RFO", etc!
