    Graphics Card Issue?

I have the ATI FirePro V5800 FireGL video card. I noticed the other day in my Revit>Options> Graphics, that the driver was old. It listed the latest Autodesk certified driver so I went to the card mfr website, downloaded the same certified driver and installed it. All is well except for one small problem. I am continually getting a little dialog box showing up in Revit, both 2014 and 2015. Please see the attached. Anybody know what might be causing this and how I can get rid of it?

Think I heard that a reboot fixes it....

Done that twice. Another guy in the office has the same workstation configuration, installed the updated driver and his having the same issue.

Try cycling through the panels and turning the properties window off then on? I know I have seen this before on a blog. Thought it was Steve's but cannot find it.

I had a guy here who had that problem. Our machines have nvidia cards here and it went away after we turned off nView, NVIDIA's desktop management tool. If ATI has something similar try turning it off.

          This post discusses the problem.

Kevek, by reading thru the link you posted I found the reference to turning off Hydrovision, the ATI desktop Manager tool. That seems to have taken care of it. I will monitor (no pun intended) for a while but so far it looks good. Thanks.

I occasionally see that dialog when I'm using Windows Layout Manager. The dialog appears to be always there (as WiLMa can detect it when setting up a window configuration) but its normally minimized from view with no obvious way of bringing it view and when it does appear, you tend to think something is wrong when there usually isn't.
