So I'm finally getting my workmates round to the idea of working with masses for conceptual form/building studies - and have a model here with one that's had faces, walls & floors applied, mass floor schedules created, and the camera shots are now being positioned...
BUT
Turning masses off (so we can see the external/internal features of the concept model) more clearly turns the site/context forms we also modelled as masses.
We don't want to be dressing the neighbouring buildings with walls, we're quite happy with them being "forms" as they are - but I'm at a loss as to how to control the two things indepedently.
I tried to switch the category of the masses to "site" - but category switching isn't allowed (this is 2011) :banghead:
Any ideas/suggestions?
