area schedule in revit architecture

Hi ,
I am designing a 30 story apartment building in revit architecture. Trying to get the gross area schedule . But i am not able to get the grand total value sum for the areas even after ticking the total optoin. But its working fine with the rentable area schedule. Any advice?

Go to the Format Tab, choose the parameter you want to total, then pick the "Calculate Totals" button bottom right
