    Intro / 1st Big question

    Hello out there,
I am new to this forum and find it very informing. Not only am i new to this site, I am kind of new to Revit. My boss gave me my first project to do in Revit which I am excited about. The project consists of converting a 2D floor plan into 3D using Revit, then showing how the 2000Amp Busduct is routed from outside into and through the bldg. I have already created my interior and exterior walls. Now I have to create the loading dock/parking area on the side street which is where my Switchboard is located.
So my scenario/problem is: right now I have only two levels and the side street height is lower than my 2nd level but higher than my 1st level. It has a curved ramp that I have to "Revitize" In my 2d plan that I have linked shows the shape of the ramp.
Is this a complicated scenario or I'm just still green. any info would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks in advance,
    Rev Dawg.

Welcome to the forum, Rev Dawg.

Can you post an image of the ramp?

Just green. Use the ramp tool and draw the boundary of your ramp using the tool. set you slope and shape in the type properties of the ramp. and finish sketch. go to elevation view and move ramp up or down.

Ramp sux, BIM coordinator said better to do as place mass (floor) , because you cannot attach anything to it, dimension level and has few more disatvantages. And if you cant attach to it, good luck with editing profile ;D
