Shared Parameters for Elevation / Section / Callout Heads ?

So we've a really rather silly sheet numbering protocol on one of our projects (don't ask) and I've segmented down the "parts" into shared parameter fields to keep the "unique number" actually unique (the additional layers of info will help sorting later I'm sure)

The thing is it's a multiple building site, so there will be a number of drawings with the same number (ie. XX-XX-02-0001, XX-XX-XX-03-0001, etc) so when the (OOTB) callout heads read "0001" - it'll be a fair question when someone asks, "yeah but which one".

So I then I try to add the building-differentiating shared parameter to the callout head family, but the option isn't there... :banghead:

Have I missed something? Can this not be done?

You need to add those shared parameters both to the project and the callout family (and titleblock...)
You will also have the problem that revit does not allow for same sheet numbers.

Could you use a SP for the (visible) Sheet Number too? and just have the Native numbers read, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. (would only be visible in the Project Browser)

Sorry, that's my point, I don't see to be able to! :banghead: (Callout.jpg)

The buildings are to be documented (and built) seperately, so the sheets are in their respective models - so we don't ever want the "unique" number doubled (Codes.jpg) within a building - but are happy for mulitples across the project - I just want to get the shared parameter "Zone" (which differentiates the buildings) into the Callout head (Want.jpg)

        Sorry, I don't follow?

I do not belive you can add parameters to callouts, elevations, and sections. What you see is what you get for parameters.

Correct. Unless someone knows something and isnt sharing.

That would be a great shame, as I'm really really wanting this to happen.

I have just had the thought to nest another family that I can get it in - but I'm hammering away at something else at the moment. Something to test further I guess.
