    Project Browser Issues

    Three issues that I have come across with the project browser/properties in 2014. Anyone else experiencing any of these?

    1. The Project Browser goes blank, or sometimes will display whatever is in the View window. Closing and reopening the browser does not resolve it. The only thing that seems to resolve it is to close and reopen the project.

    2. When I open Revit, Project Browser and Properties menus are missing, yet checked as on in the User Interface settings. I have to uncheck and recheck to bring them back.

    3. After closing a project the Project Browser and Properties remain open and displaying the properties of the last view open.

    Thanks, let me know your thoughts.

    Sounds like a graphics card issue to me.

      I have experienced items 1 and 2 here in R2014. For me, item 1 is resolved by just slightly resizing the Properties palette. Item 2 is resolved as you have noted. I've never seen item 3 happen here.
      I'm retired, if you don't like it, go around!

        For item 2, You can always assign a keyboard shortcut to the project browser (For me it's the number 1).
        I've found it to be specially good when you have only one monitor because you can have the properties palette and the project browser at full height

          Thanks for the responses. I'll look into the graphics card driver. And try resizing the window the next time it comes up. Also- great tip Juan! Definitely going to do that.

            I just wanted to follow up on this: One of the computers that was experiencing this had an out of date graphics card. We updated the card and have not had an issue since.

              did you update the physical card or the graphics driver?
