Sorry, could you clarify what you are wanting to do? You want Legend Views in a family? What would you be accomplishing with this? Maybe there's a better way to accomplish it. Is it just for reference for people inside the family? I'm not sure you can even add legends to a family.

Hi rkitect and tnx for your reply, I need to be capable to add more views in a family that can be extracted using the legend tool and the legend component, as you know when you want to represent some objects in legends you can select between several views (please see image below), so my doubt is if it´s possible to add more views that can be extracted using the legend component tool, I need to extract some views from an specific family but the family doesn't contains the view I need, so I want to add the views by myself, I hope to be clear, tnx again, best regards.

        Andres,

I don't think it is possible but I think what Carl is asking is, "what other views do you need?" From that picture I see a plan and elevation representation of a door or gate. What else would you want? A legend should give an example of how something looks in plan or elevation in general is the thought behind the function in Revit as I understand it.

A thought though. You *might* be able to do what you want via a schedule with the new image in schedules function. Not the best solution but possible.
