    wall opening question

I have a problem that I don't understand - on the attached pic the wall on the right has no base extension and the wall on the left has a base extension distance of -8''. Both have a wall opening under the window but the one with the base extension is not cutting properly. Any ideas as to why?

I don't have Revit open, but isn't there a height associated with a wall opening? If so, are you using two different types of opening, one being 8" taller than the other?

Yes, the one on the left is 16" - it's the blue outline

Something to do with the lower and upper walls on the right being joined, and the ones on the left not being joined? Looks like the opening in fact needs to cut both the lower and upper wall...

Maybe you could strip down a copy of the project, and upload it here for troubleshooting?

Looks to me that it's a family problem. Check and see if the upper face of the Void Extrusion is locked to something (base refplane of the window would be nice).

I fixed it by making the wall opening taller than necessary (8" above the storefront). I have no idea why this worked
