    Thin Lines...

Is there a way to make Thin Lines be thin by default? Maybe something with the INI or some setting somewhere?

    Thanks

It means. When you open a project or family the comman Thin Lines is by default set to on. Type TL on your keyboard you will see what i mean. I want my lines to be thin by default.

Unfortunately, Thin Lines is not per project but a program option. I think the INI is a good place to look for this, just not sure if it has an INI directive or not.

How could I go about finding where this could get set in the INI?

Ahh, I never use this so I was confused. Thought you actually ment Thin (Drawing) Lines... As far as I know not accesable through the API.

I checked the Journal files and checked the ID_THIN_LINES entry to see if it did anything in the INI file, no luck so far. I am also confused as to whether this is a per project or program. My testing was inconsistent.

I had a support case some month ago regarding exactly the same question. According to Autodesk support, the state of the ThinLines is not stored between sessions. So there is no way to achieve what you want. Except someone in this forum knows something that Autodesk does not know yet :-)
