Anyone got any suggestions as to how to do a ceiling like attached?

I would start by building the arches as walls and editing the profiles to achieve the arches. For the ceilings I might be inclined to try making an in-place ceiling family. I did something similar once for a domed ceiling...not quite as complicated as you are showing but I think it could be done. -
Agreed that in-place is the way to go here... along with a few swept blends and a couple of voids.
