The solar protection panels where made with an in-place mass family. Here is the tutorial. http://www.youtube.com/user/Autodesk...13/_YWwqm7gtic

Yes, I know, I get this picture from this tutorial, but there is only shown how to create a form and I know how to make it, but in this video is used "Solar protection-MPK" and i have no idea where to get it from... or how to make something like that...

It could be something similar like from revit opening

      thanks in advance for helping

Solar panels are like everything else in revit.
You can do walls, roofs, families (in place or not).
It's what you call it and how it looks that matters.
For normal display, add a surface pattern and for render add a transparency mask.
For everything else call what you modelled a solar panel and if you need add a manufacturer and model.
By the photo you show, I would use face based walls ou curtain systems.

Piotr, metal panels are already in your Materials Library under 'Steel" or 'Metal - Panel'.
To control shape, size, scale, ...etc of your cut-outs, use 'Appearance' tab in the 'Materials Library' dialog box.

about the Curtain Panel, Solar Protection

                Dear friends,

I have the same problem and I'm in urgent need of how to make my Curtain system as a Solar Protection, like the tutorial as you mentioned in the previous comments.
I will be thankful, if anyone guides through this problem.

                your friend,

There are different factors or issue regarding in protecting your solar panels. It could be from weather, lightning, fire or even in thief. For a big investment like this, we must protect it whatever reason it is.
