    Custom material texture: three files?

When creating custom textures, are people creating all three sizes (256Px, 512Px & 1024Px)? Or just using one, and if so, which one? I assume if I make all three, name them the same, and match the folder structure, then Revit should use the custom textures the same way it does the OOTB textures. Then again, Revit shares the library, and it may not even use all three itself.

    Wondering if anyone knows.

    Thanks!

Good question. Don´t know how Revit "picks" the right size... but then again, I rarely use the OOTB material textures. The ones I keep in my custom library is not in any fixed size, but varies depending on the source I got them from, or the mood I was in when I created them. I do however downscale textures above 1024P, and most the textures I use is around 800P...
