    Keynoting in structural documentation

    Hi,
Was just wondering if anyone actually use keynoting in the structural documentation? If so what do you actually keynote? Connection details or wall types....?

Currently we do not use the Revit keynoting system for our structural drawings.

We keynote as much as possible, that way eliminating adding text to sections, etc. It creates a uniform tagging/noting across all views. Also, if you draw your model well enough, you can hit the keynote button (or keyboard shortcut) once and completely note a section up.

Be careful though, keynotes go away when the model element is hidden. You can get around this by making unwanted lines invisible using the linework tool.
